Winter Love

I saw her wandering
through the night,
as sorrow bathed
her shadowed face,
neither creature nor flower
it seemed to me,
could make an ounce
of happiness grace.
As moon beams kissed
her painted hair,
and danced upon
her naked feet,
she of silver
unaware,
stole my heart
and caught it's beat.
